In Italy, the selected target groups were mainly architects, civil engineers and professionals and representatives of the building sectors. Altogether 56 persons have been trained during the project in Italy.

Business Model

In BioHousing-project a business model has been developed to promote services related to biomass heating system. In order to utilize the business model as a training tool, ETA has edited the business model to be suited for Italian market.

The model is a helpful, practical and versatile tool for entrepreneurs interested in starting a new business or enlarging their existing business in bioenergy sector. The business model will offer information about the viability of the planned business.

The potential business activities included in the model are

  • maintenance of the heating system
  • purchase of heating devices
  • biomass fuel supply
  • heat supply
  • training and consulting
