Training in France

In France, the trainings were targeted to heating professionals (plumbers, installers, HPAC technicians), building professionals (architects, houses builders, design offices), authorities (municipalities, RES counsellors, energy advisors and promoters), to students and lecturers in technical schools, and to mixed group (merging professionals and promoters). Altogether 226 persons have been trained during the project in France.

Training material

Trainings are targeted to several different target groups with different training contents.

Business model

In BioHousing-project a business model has been developed to promote services related to biomass heating system. In order to utilize the business model as a training tool, ETA has edited the business model to be suited for Italian market. Biomasse Normandie has adapted this model to the French market and translated into French.

The model is a helpful, practical and versatile tool for entrepreneurs interested in starting a new business or enlarging their existing business in bioenergy sector. The business model will offer information about the viability of the planned business.

The potential business activities included in the model are

  • maintenance of the heating system
  • purchase of heating devices
  • biomass fuel supply
  • heat supply
  • training and consulting

Dans le projet BioHousing un modèle économique a été développé pour promouvoir le développement du bois-énergie et analyser les potentialités de diversification des services liés aux systèmes de chauffage à partir de biomasse. ETA a adapté le modèle pour en faire un outil synthétique utilisable par tous et Biomasse Normandie l'a traduit en français et adapté au contexte national.

Ce modèle est un outil utile, pratique et polyvalent permettant à tout créateur d'entreprise souhaitant démarrer une activité liée au bois-énergie (vente d'appareils et de combustibles, entretien/maintenance, fourniture d'énergie, formations...), d'obtenir des informations préliminaires sur la viabilité économique de son entreprise. Ce modèle est également un outil d'aide à la décision pour toute entreprise existante souhaitant diversifier ses activités dans le domaine du bois-énergie et en analyser la viabilité économique.

Les activités considérées par le modèle sont:

  • maintenance de systèmes de chauffage
  • installation de systèmes de chauffage
  • livraison de combustibles bois-énergie
  • vente de chaleur
  • formation/conseils
