During the BioHousing-project several training courses have been organised for different target groups (house builders, plumbers, chimney sweepers, architects etc). Altogether 1044 persons participated in the educational activities of the project.
In the folders you will find training material in Finnish, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
In Austria it was discovered a need to update and harmonise the training material. Austrian partner (ofi) worked in the close co-operation with other actors (e.g. manufacturers) to update an extent training material. The complete training material is found under folder "Training in Austria".
The main chapters of the material are translated into English.

Training evaluation
The objective of the traing activities was to increase the knowledge and understanding of bioheating of selected target groups. The focus of the activities was on biomass heating as a central heating system, stove heating as an auxiliary heating and combined solar and biomass heating. The contents of the training events covered solid biomass heating equipment requirements for construction planning, general promotion of the use of renewable energy sources and technical, environmental, and economic issues related to solid biomass heating.
